SLATE PROPERTY ARTS AND CULTURE ENDOWMENT (SPACE) is a 501(c)3 organization that we created and launched for Slate Property Group. The fund was created to help support arts and culture in selected North Brooklyn communities where Slate developed properties. Through a grant process that we built, Slate awarded funding to applicants proposing projects in visual arts (film, video and photography), performance arts, and cultural events. All though we accepted proposals from all qualified applicants, we encouraged individuals of color and individuals and organizations with ties to immigrant and under-represented groups to apply.

ODA'S PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT IN NEIGHBORHOODS is a 501(c)(3) organization we created and launched for ODA. There goal was to make a positive impact in the communities in which they operate by giving local organizations the resources they needed to develop projects that unite, engage, and empower residents of diverse backgrounds. OPEN supports projects in Community Green Space, Media & Technology, Design & Architecture, and Public Art. All completed projects must be made free and accessible to the public and include a community engagement components to them when implementing.

We were engaged by BFC Partners to work with their team to manage Community Affairs and Engagement for The Bedford Union Armory, a high-profile development in Crown Heights. We worked with BFC's lobbyist, project management team and EDC to develop and execute a community engagement plan. In the process we built relationships with the community, key stakeholders and elected officials so that BFC could propose a final project, through the process of negotiation and engagement, that the community and the elected officials could approve and move forward through the ULURP approval process.

Camber Property Group

With the potential to bring many positive community benefits to Bushwick, Camber Property Group engaged our team to create and execute a Community Engagement Plan for 1601 Dekalb now undergoing a rezoning proposal. Our goal is to create an inclusive and transparent process, engage the community at large, raise awareness of the project at every stage, and present community benefits that are available.  We are working closely with the Camber team to host job fairs, partner with local organizations on various events including info sessions, M/WBE training, housing lottery sessions, AMI workshops and a few fun summer activities. We also will create an RFP process for local artists to submit ideas for art work on dislplay at 1601 Dekalb.
